A shop built by one mechanic's frustration

Marcus Webb opened Trueline Auto Works after years of watching dealerships push repairs drivers did not need.

From dealership floors to his own bay

Marcus spent over a decade in dealership service departments around Dallas, watching good techs get pushed to upsell services customers did not need. In 2019 he opened Trueline in Sachse with a simple promise: diagnose it right, quote it in writing, and fix only what actually needs fixing.

Today Trueline is a small, family-run shop. Marcus still works the floor alongside two other technicians, and every estimate that leaves the shop has his name behind it.

He is an ASE-certified Master Technician, which means he has passed exams across engine repair, electrical systems, brakes, and more, and keeps re-certifying as vehicles change.

Backed by training and a real warranty

Every repair leaving Trueline is covered by a 12-month, 12,000-mile warranty on parts and labor. If something we fixed fails within that window, we make it right at no charge.
